- CDL License B or A with air brake endorsement.
- Experience in large and small scale tree removals and advanced pruning.
- Advanced understanding of rigging, aerial lift operations and spikeless climbing.
- Able to effectively organize and lead a crew in the completion of daily work orders.
- Complete a daily jobsite briefing with entire crew and answer any questions about the job at hand.
- Arrive to work on time and ready to work a full day in adverse weather.
- Able to legally drive and operate commercial vehicles in accordance with Michigan laws.
- Educate and train fellow employees to promote skill advancement.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting, be physically fit and be able to hear verbal instructions from a distance.
- Able to pass drug screen and physical before employment.
- Complete a morning vehicle and equipment inspection daily (including oil and fluids)
- Daily climbing and rigging gear inspections.
- Stock trucks with necessary inventory for a complete day of work.
- Fill out and turn in repair work orders.
- Keep assigned equipment and trucks clean and orderly.
- Use required safety equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines throughout the day and at all locations.
- Report any loss or damage to equipment.
- Safeguard public and employees from worksite hazards.
- Customer Service:
- Protect customers’ property.
- Report and damage to customers’ property immediately to division manager.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting, be physically fit and be able to hear verbal instructions from a distance.
- Arrive to work on time ready to work a full day in adverse weather.
- Must be able to understand and follow directions quickly.
- Able to learn chipper operation in a timely manner.
- Skills in property clean up upon completion of job (raking, leaf blowing, tarp and debris hauling, etc.).

- The ability to take correction and teaching well, as well as follow crew leader direction.
- The ability to organize and put away any equipment that was used on a job site.

- Daily pesticide applications.
- Tree injections, spraying, soil injections, soil drenches, root pruning and fertilizations.
- Able to diagnose disease or insect pests.
- Installation of canopy support systems.
- Accurately calculate pesticide mixes and correct dosages.
- Ability to fix pumps and small parts that wear on equipment.
- Arrive to work on time ready to work a full day in adverse weather.
- Inventory of materials in truck for the completion of daily work orders.
- Able to effectively organize and lead a crew in the completion of daily work orders.
- Complete job site briefings with entire crew and answer any questions about the job at hand.

- Experience in large and small scale stump grinding.
- Experience in stump grinding around utilities, irrigation, and sensitive landscapes.
- Advanced understanding of stump grinding techniques with different sized grinders.
- Quality job completion from the start of grinding to the final clean-up of debris and installation of topsoil.
- Arrive to work on time ready to work a full day in adverse weather.
- Ability to determine a safe location for equipment placement, entry and exit.
- Able to effectively organize and lead a crew in the completion of daily work orders.
- Complete job site briefings with entire crew and answer any questions about the job at hand.
- Able to legally drive and operate commercial vehicles in accordance with Michigan laws.

- Proven sales record.
- An energetic and enthusiastic personality.
- Quality listening skills and strong communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills, leadership skills and computer skills.
